Table在填空題中算是比較容易定位的題型，因其邏輯性和順序性較強，因此各位考生們可以盡可能地多拿分，最好是拿到滿分。下面進行本題的審題示范。

　　首先，所有同學應養成填空題先看字數的好習慣，不然聽得再明白，最后因為字數原因導致失分是非常可惜的。其次，查看表頭——Brand of Cot; Good Points; Problems; Verdict。這樣一來，我們能大概猜到答案的內容或詞性。然而，很多學生會認為Verdict這個單詞是一個解題障礙。其實，在做題時若發現生詞，大家不必太過驚慌，一定要記得將生詞讀一讀，以防其重現卻沒有反應。

　　第11題：題干很短且沒什么關鍵詞能幫助做題，不過可以確定的是，答案是動詞。因此，聽到Baby Safe之后去原文找會寫的動詞，起碼保證不會留白。同時，easy作為形容詞，容易出現同義替換，審題時思考可能替換的情況：同義詞simple;反義詞difficult, hard…

　　原文如下：The first cot we looked at was by Baby Safe and it had several good points to recommend it. Our testers liked the fact that it had four wheels, so it was easy to move around.

　　出現Baby Safe，開始找動詞: recommend; move around。easy to原文重現，所以答案很容易定位：move around。

　　第12題：題干同樣很短，但存在否定詞，而且能夠判斷答案是名詞。同學們可以從否定詞著手，方便定位。

　　原文如下：The only slight problems with this cot were that it had no brakes, but they didn't think that mattered too much.

　　出現表頭單詞problems，開始找名詞。no一詞幫助定位，本題難點在于拼寫，許多學生會寫成breaks，所以各位需在平時多注意積累單詞，遇上生詞要第一時間整理并做到會讀、會拼、會中文。

　　第13題：題干有關鍵詞——babies, side bar。確定答案詞性為名詞(復數可能性較大)。

　　原文：At first they were a bit concerned about the side bar, because they felt babies could trap their fingers in it, but our testers felt that this was unlikely to happen so they have given this one a verdict of 'satisfactory'. babies出現后，開始尋找復數名詞，their也原文重現，所以答案非常好找——fingers。

　　第14題：題干中沒有任何單詞能幫助定位，也未知所填是何詞性，因此要學會利用表頭verdict，切記先試著讀一讀，讓腦子熟悉一下。

　　原文：but our testers felt that this was unlikely to happen so they have given this one a verdict of 'satisfactory'.

　　果然verdict原文重現，后面即是答案——satisfactory，注意拼寫。

　　第15題：審題方法和第11題一樣。Choice Cots可以幫助定位，思考easy

　　的同義替換，原文中尋找動詞。

　　原文：The next cot was by Choice Cots and this time our testers were pleased to find a cot which is simple to put together—unlike others we looked at.

　　Choice Cots之后找動詞：find;put together。easy換成simple，并不難想到，答案很容易定位——put together。

　　第16題：關鍵詞——spaces; bars。答案可能是名詞，也可能是形容詞。

　　原文：However, the real problem with this cot was the space between the bars; our testers found they were too wide and a baby could easily trap his head.

　　problem、space、bars原文重現，尋找形容詞或名詞：too wide。注意too不要漏掉，記得所聽即所得。

　　第17題：由第14題的答案satisfactory，可以大膽預測其應該也是一個形容詞。

　　原文：We felt this was a real safety hazard and so we have labelled this one dangerous, I'm afraid.

　　答案顯而易見，并未出現什么干擾項，考查詞匯也簡單，本題正確率高。

　　第18題：本題的解題方法和第12題一樣。可以用problems解題，或者用否定詞加上詞性解決。

　　原文：The negatives for this one were quite minor; the only niggle everyone had was the fact that it has no wheels and the only other problem anyone could find, was that there were pictures which were simply stuck on and so could easily become detached.

　　negatives和problems進行同義替換，同學們可以注意積累。在原文中尋找名詞：wheels; pictures。同時pictures考題中出現，再利用no一詞幫助定位正確答案——wheels,考生們應注意拼寫和語音，切勿和will混淆。

　　第19題：利用第14題和第17題的答案詞性，確定原文尋找形容詞。

　　原文：The makers have now promised to discontinue this practice. As this cot will then be safe in every way, we have made the Mother's Choice cot our best buy. Congratulations Mother's Choice!

　　學生們一定能聽到形容詞：safe和best buy;而這它們都符合詞性要求，所以都可以作為答案。烤鴨們可以選擇其中一個，但前提是保證拼寫正確。
