Antibiotic抗菌素，抗生素

Antibiotic 在IELTS考試中主要考它的名詞形式，這個(gè)詞曾在3個(gè)version中考過(guò)，都要求填寫這個(gè)詞，大家一定要記住這個(gè)詞的發(fā)音和拼寫(注意這個(gè)詞有兩種不同的發(fā)音)，這三個(gè)版本是：

Version 14的Section 1；

Version 32的Section 2；

Version 40的Section 4；

解釋1)：A substance, such as penicillin or streptomycin, produced by or derived from certain fungi, bacteria, and other organisms, that can destroy or inhibit the growth of other microorganisms.由真菌，細(xì)菌和其它微生物產(chǎn)生或從中得到的一種物質(zhì)，如青霉素或鏈霉素，可以破壞或抑制其它微生物的生長(zhǎng)。

解釋2)：a substance produced by or a semisynthetic substance derived from a microorganism and able in dilute solution to inhibit or kill another microorganism
