1.定語從句
示例：Byrd now knew that he would be able to reach the South Pole which was 300 miles away.定語從句部分可以簡化：…the South Pole 300 miles away
2.主語從句
概念解釋：主語從句，顧名思義，就是作主語的句子。需要注意的一點(diǎn)是：因?yàn)榉旁谥髡Z1的位置上的是個(gè)句子，所以，有時(shí)候會(huì)使得1有些頭重的感覺，因此，經(jīng)常會(huì)用it進(jìn)行先行替代，而把從句放到后面。
示例：At one point, it seemed certain that their plane would crash.(it是形式上的主語，它替代了后面的主語從句)
