Nowadays, our world has been experiencing big changes in media and consumer's behavior. Almost everyone could be regarded as a PR practitioner. With the attention economy empower the consumers to choose where their attention is spent, Public Relations plays more and more significant role in helping organization standing out from the rest in the market sphere. I am inspired by the diversity and challenging characteristic of working as a Public Relations practitioner.

I am highly motivated and enthusiastic and have a keen desire to pursue a master degree in Public Relations. The reason for choosing this course is because of its solid combination between the theoretical and practical side of Public relations. It could quipme for a successful career in Corporate Communications by exploring the drivers and dynamics of the corporate communication industry, by understanding the theory and practice of Public Relations in modern world, by offering me with the skills and approach that will enable me to understand brand management and deliver clear,consistent communication to all parties. In addition, working on a consultancy issue in the practical project with the highly qualified teaching staff with extensive research and consultancy expertise would bring the knowledge and skills that are directly relevant to the workplace and equip me to be a professional PR practitioner upon graduation.

My interest in media and communications was fueled by a previous passion to study media management. As an undergraduate majoring in Media Management, I have taken several courses related to Public Relations for acquiring fundament theories and concepts of it profession. In-depth study of Public Relations theory and practice in thecontext of specialist areas of business communication enables me to develop my analytical skills and critical awareness. Successfully achieving the learning objectives of media relations module enables me to apply basic rhetorical analysis and acquire knowledge and skills in speech writing, public speaking and media interviews within the context of organizational communication and public relation. I am currently doing a digital project, I am able to utilizing journalistic skills in multimedia content creation and dissemination and always curious and keen on to keep learning. I have a strong sense of commitment and have applied myself thoroughly and consistently to my academic career which helped me to won the scholarship and have distinguished me as an outstanding student in my class.

However, at the same time, I recognized that what I have learned as an undergraduate is far from enough. Therefore, it is my desire to pursue a master degree in CorporateCommunication and Public Relations in your university. Your theoretical and practical module would bring me a unique educational experience in modern corporate communication within an international context.

My experience of three months internship in Shanghai media group provoked me a strong desire and makes me determine to pursue a master degree in Public Relations and start my career in the media sphere in the future. With actively participating in the production of three Talks shows, I learnt the value of working as a member of the team in a high pace and stressful environment; I honed my skills of effective communication and persuasion, and reinforced my consciousness of co-operation and efficient time management. Successfully find many audiences for every time programerecoding in a short time would demonstrate my effective persuading and negotiation skills and high efficiency working manner. My efforts on the programming and publicity of the programmes has increased my capacity of critical thinking, creative writing, initiative participating. My professional and mature capability of managing to dealing with the emergency situation on the spot and the confidence in communicating with the program script to the guests who are the top managers of different companies has highly impressed the production team. High praise received from my employer and my production team with my infectious personality, strong capacity of interpersonal skills and well consciousness of team work, and they all welcome me to go back to work there as I have the potential of being a talented producer in media sphere.

My student work experience on course representative could indicate that I am a reliable and obliging person with high responsibility and the capability of efficient communication. It gives me the opportunity to be the voice of the students, I have to listen and make sure the messages and issues from students come across and get heard. It allows me to not only become a problem solver, but also to develop my leadership and team work skills. 2 years of studying abroad has made I see myself as being competent and versatile with the ability to deal with pressure and organize my time well and be flexible and adaptable in order to meet changing conditions or situations.

I maintain a balanced attitude to work and home life. In my spare time I like reading, traveling and singing. Music is an important part of my life. During my 11 years of playing the trombone, I used to be regretted, frustrated, helpless and self-doubt. But, ultimately, I played a leader trombone in an orchestra and performed at many large concert halls in Shanghai, and become a member of the Shanghai Trombone Association with the highest grade certificate. Plying the trombone not only cultivate my sensitive perception of beauty and aesthetic ability, train my ingenious thinking, foster a strong sense of team spirit, but also it has taught me one thing that perseverance and diligence will do wonders.

I have a very strong drive and motivation to continually develop my professional skills, I hope to become an expert in Public Relations, and make some contribution on this field.
