　　6. Compare and contrast - Talk about the difference and/or similarities between two things.

　　7. Past - How were things different in the past and how have they changed?

　　In Part 3 of the test, the examiner MUST ask the first 3 questions they have on their list, after which, they can ask any question related to the topic or to your answers. This is why IELTS examiners commonly refer to PART 3 as the REAL part of the speaking test. The questions can be prepared for by practicing many of the topics that are common on the test.
