　　1.在這種條件下工作不是享受而是折磨,由于工資低，以及離家遠。

　　Working in such condition is not a pleasure but a sufferbecause of low wages and far from home.

　　易錯點：部分學生寫成：Working in such condition is more a pleasure than a sufferdue to its low wages and long distance from home.這句在語法上沒錯誤，但是意思正好相反，與其說是折磨還不如說是享受

　　這是more A than B的一個特殊的比較句式，表示“與其說是B，還不如說是A”，常連接兩個名詞、形容詞、副詞、介詞短語等。例如：

　　She is more a writer than a scholar. 與其說她是學者，不如說她是作家。

　　He is more mad than brave. 與其說他勇敢，不如說他瘋了。(more mad不可改為madder)

　　He drove more steadily than slowly. 與其說他車開得慢，不如說他開得穩。

　　知識點：no...but...與not...but

　　no...but...的意思是：不…但是…

　　舉例：

　　1.I had no option but to pretend ignorance.

　　我別無他法，只能假裝不知道。

　　2.We had no option but to abandon the meeting.

　　我們別無選擇，只有放棄這次會面。

　　not...but...的意思是：不是…而是…

        2.我們在治理空氣污染上，依舊存在困難。

　　We still have difficulty (in) dealing with air pollution.

　　易錯點：部分學生寫成have difficulties in doing，這是不規范的寫法，通常我們在這個短語中使用單數形式，

　　N-COUNT A difficulty is a problem. 難題

　　...the difficulty of getting accurate information.

　　…獲得準確信息的困難。

　　N-UNCOUNT If you have difficulty doing something, you are not able to do it easily.

　　Do you have difficulty getting up?

　　你起床有困難嗎?
