1、IELTS 考試水平稍高于大學(xué)英語四級(jí)，大體與TOEFL相似，但主要側(cè)重于應(yīng)用能力，考試難點(diǎn)因人而異，就我本人來講口語相對(duì)較難；
2、目前市場(chǎng)上出售的考試復(fù)習(xí)資料對(duì)考試幫助不是很大，因?yàn)榛旧隙际莊or accademic nit for general training.建議使用british embassy 出售的資料，可以熟悉一下考試題型；
3、詞匯量要求不是很高，大學(xué)英語單詞足以應(yīng)付，復(fù)習(xí)一下大學(xué)英語詞匯量即可；
4、以本人經(jīng)驗(yàn)準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間不必太長，但主要取決于個(gè)人英語水平，因?yàn)樗吘古c我們所常見的考試不大一樣，實(shí)質(zhì)上主要是能力測(cè)試，考試期間曾與其他考生交談，普遍認(rèn)為準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間過長對(duì)考試幫助不大，平均兩個(gè)月足以；
5、聽力感覺時(shí)間較緊，雖然不記入成績但也不應(yīng)忽視；
6、口語測(cè)試隨機(jī)性很強(qiáng)，不必刻意背誦有關(guān)資料，總的說來目前市場(chǎng)上出售的口語書基本上含蓋了口語面試的大部分，大體上不會(huì)超過這個(gè)范圍，只有多說多練。面試官提問問題大概按照他自己的思路走，沒有定式。
我是怎樣準(zhǔn)備IELTS
1. Listening
I registered the TOEFL of 15th of May. So I will spend some time on TOEFL listening practice. Because the score of listening section is not a part that considered by immigration department of Canada consulate, I will not spend my valuable time on it.
2. Reading
I'm prepare the Reading section of TOEFL and IELTS at the same time. So, no extra time for practice this section except looking through the example.
3. Writing
I downloaded several tasks from www.ielts.com and wrote according to them and TOEFL an essay every day or every other day. I found a American English teacher and let him correct my writing once a week. I'm also going to keep in mind some good essaies in order to use them in the real examination.
4. Speaking
I have chance to talk to some foreigners during work time. But it is not enough. I have arrange with the here in above American to simulate the test with me once a week.

考點(diǎn)：南京東南大學(xué)
8：20 到考場(chǎng)，站在走廊里，一直等到第一個(gè)考班進(jìn)場(chǎng)完。
9：15 進(jìn)場(chǎng)，核對(duì)長相，對(duì)號(hào)入座。
9：30聽力開始，耳機(jī)清晰，這次的版本是version 14,是個(gè)英國口音，有三段。
1、有個(gè)人生病咳嗽，與醫(yī)生對(duì)話。要寫出病情，藥名，吃幾顆藥，時(shí)間等等。我記得用到cough、spoon、anti-biotic、chest，etc。
2、一男一女談參加演講會(huì)的感受，男的是俄國人的口音，舌頭打滾。要選擇出兩人的感受、準(zhǔn)備方法、參與方式、參加后的感想等等。
3、兩人談參加露天活動(dòng)，要寫出節(jié)目表，時(shí)間，內(nèi)容，活動(dòng)地點(diǎn)等等，用到了loudspeakers、harbor，etc。
10:15 閱讀 version 08，有四段。
1、五幅語言學(xué)校招生廣告，根據(jù)廣告內(nèi)容選擇正確答案，要找一些時(shí)間安排，費(fèi)用，提供教學(xué)的語種、學(xué)校設(shè)施，課外活動(dòng)等等。
2、一所大學(xué)的歷史，現(xiàn)狀，學(xué)生組成，管理方法等等
3、提供十幾個(gè)縮寫和解釋，題目是給一段文字內(nèi)容和解釋，找對(duì)應(yīng)的縮寫來匹配。
4、飛行器的發(fā)展，熱氣球，螺旋槳，噴氣式，商業(yè)飛行，速度等等。
11：17作文 version 23
1、電話帳單出了錯(cuò)，發(fā)現(xiàn)是國際長途上有問題，寫信抗議，要錢。
2、有人說學(xué)生要先學(xué)general subjects , 應(yīng)當(dāng)?shù)鹊?7歲，他們知道自己該做什么的時(shí)候，才能開始學(xué)習(xí)special subjects 。這個(gè)觀點(diǎn)你支持嗎，為什么？
第二天，11:30 口語
先寒暄，談家庭，工作，老家，婚姻狀況，Y2K，手機(jī)對(duì)人體有害...
cue card，假裝顧客向他買就電視機(jī)，問成色，價(jià)格，廠家...
談未來，為何移民，想去哪個(gè)城市，工作前景...。答案一
Dear manager :
I am a subscriber of your telephone service . I an writing this letter to tell you that there are something wrong within the telephone bill last month .
When I got the bill , I am astonished that it is much high than usual . In the months before , it costs me about $100 per month , But in this month , it costs me about $200 . I am sure that I am using the telephone too much .
After I examed the bill , I found that there are something wrong about the oversea telephone serveice . e I have no relatives or business partners in Africa , but I found that there are many phonecalls to Ugenda!So there must be something wrong with your billing system .
Here I will make a serious complaint . I think you do not want me to change to another telephone service company . So please check my bill and I want my money back .

Some people say that ... (把題目觀點(diǎn)復(fù)述一下）. I totally agree this idea .
Firstly , general subjects are the basement of other kinds of subjects . In our country , Chinese,math,physics are all general subjects .Without a systematic study of general subjects , one will face a lot of problem in this social life . For Example , if you had not studied math , when you wandering around a flea market , You will find that robbed by those cunning guys .
Next , people are gifted defferently . If you do not study the general subjects , maybe you will not find what you are really good at . When I was young , I like to read novels and I believe that I will be a writer . But after I have studied BASIC - a computer program language , also a general subject in my school , I found that I was so good at it that even I can use it to write a small computer game . I am a computer programmer now . Thanks god , I found what I was gifted . If I hadn't study BASIC , the general subject , maybe I was a poor low-end writer now !
Finally , people's carrer must be related with their interet . It is happy to work on what you are interested in and get the payment at the same time . Without the study of the general subjects , maybe you will not find what you are interested in .
To sum up , 再次強(qiáng)調(diào)主題，I will practise this kind of method on my child .
